So I just watched One Tree Hill and I'm completely lost. I got a digital converter today so I got the CW and a couple other channels. It's exciting.
Anyway, now I thought that Lucas and Brooke are together hence the "save brucas" campaign that you Rosie and Maranda have written about. Then it seems as if Lucas is really in love with Payton but married to some Lindsay chick, yet she declined his video conference! I AM SO CONFUSED! And who's baby does Brooke have? I like Brooke, I don't know if I like Payton yet, but I guess she's not bad. Anyway it sucks that I just watched my first episode of OTH and is the series almost over? Anyway it should be interesting to see who Lucas asks to marry on September 1st!
Also just got back from Southern Illinois and had an amazing time at my cousin's wedding. I'll write more later! Right not the 1st episode of Sex and the city is on and I want to watch it again!

That little damn 4 second clip, or whatever made me start crying all over again! *sighs* It's sad being heartbroken over a show, and feeling like you share in that character's loss.

5:38 pm - What's been going on in Iowa!

Ok so this is just going to be a quick post to fill everyone in on what's been going on in my state! I apologize in advance for not putting the pictures under cuts, but I have little time!
Luckily my city seems to dodge the bad floods and the bad storms! I thank God for that as much as I can. But I can't help feeling the sympathy pains, if you fill, for my neighboring towns and other cities in the Hawkeye State! So here is an ideo of what's been going on
In Eastern Iowa, where both my sister and brother live and a few good firends, these flood waters are taking people out of there homes, and jobs! My brother got evacuated in Iowa City and is luckily staying with some good friends, where it looks like the flood waters won't reach. He has a month to wait out til he can possibly get back into his apartment. Here is a picture of the area he is in. Notice the traffic lights and signs.
And on Wednesday night, June 11th, I watched my TV as all this severe weather passed by and talked on the phone to my friend who lives a little south of here and a tornado passed through and she sat in her bathroom alone. Forty miles south of here a boy scout camp was hit by an EF3 tornado. Not the biggest tornado but not puny by any means! Here is a picture of that tornado
And this is the ruins of the northern building of the boy scout camp, which grounds is one of the biggest in the country!

Ok well that is what's happening around here! With all this crazy stuff I am so thankful that my parents and I are fine and my brother and sister are physically fine, though my brother is just simply down in the dumps! Anyway I have to go! Thanks for the concerns everyone! I love you!

I have been the happiest girl in the world lately! Except for my boss moving at the end of this week, my life has been just wonderful!
So Lacey, my best friend, set me up with her co-worker over a month ago. I didn't want to be set up again but she knows me better than like anyone and she insisted that we'd be perfect for each other so I agreed. We did a double date thing, then we went out a few times by ourselves and then this last weekend I met his parents and his sister. I really liked his dad, his mom was taking care of his baby neice so she wasn't too talkative but she still seemed nice. His sister was hilarious and his four year old neice Ally told me I was her best friend! He told me I'm in with the family.
He is just so sweet! SO SWEET! The old bf never told me I looked nice unless he was drunk! This one everytime we're together tells me how nice I look. Tonight after I left he texted me to tell me how nice I looked. He opens doors and is just a complete gentleman.
I know this could completely be jumping the gun, but you know how people say when you're with the one you just know it? I really feel that way now. I was never ever this happy with Mat. He was a good guy but it just never felt this way like a real relationship.I thought it did, but not in this same way now. Mat never wanted to hold my hand and sit real close to me, but Mike does. And in the middle of the day he'll just text me to see how I'm doing and he'll call me at night if we're not together.
Anyway the basics he's 27, Catholic (score! I won't have to hear it from my grandma lol) works fulltime and is in school about the same place that I am. We have tons in common we like some of the same teams in sports. Our music tastes are a bit different but also kind of close too. He loves dogs, I love dogs. He is SO great with his neices! He helps raise them because his sister's husband is serving in the navy so it makes it hard for his sister to work and raise two girls.
I could probably go on an on but I won't! I just never thought I could be this frickin happy! It just makes everything much better!
It's funny because there is this people greeter, Pearl who works at WalMart. She's like 70 and is always working at the door next to my vision center. We joke around and stuff well one day she gave me a heads up penny. I told her maybe it would bring me a man. A week later guess what I was being set up. Of course she takes credit and insists that I bring him in to see her! Crazy Pearl! Lol.
Ok to bed I go. I hope you, my friends are all doing very well and having lovely weather!! I love you guys!!

I created this account because a friend and I wanted to move our RPG to either here or commiejorunal and we each created a OOC journal at the different places just to test it out. I like it here and since GreatestJournal is being dumb, I think I might just use this here too for my thoughts and rants! Here's the basics:

Location: Iowa, it's frickin cold here right now.
Marital status: Just broke up with my boyfriend last week. I'm still pretty tore up about it, but I'll get better with time.
Age: 25 and yes I do rp and i do have a real life with real friends and real adventures, but I LOVE writing and this is just a fun way to write with friends! If you have a problem with that then screw off! :-)

Children: none how else would I have the time to rp!
